Welcome to Active Life Fitness

We’re Here For You.

Our Story

We’re a gym for people who aren’t a fan of going to the gym! We’ve had our own fair share of experiences with gyms too, and it’s not for us either. That’s why we founded Active Life Fitness.

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill, generic gym—it’s a place where you’ll find individualized attention, encouragement and understanding. We don’t just provide weights and space: we help individuals over 40 find and walk the road to better health and wellness—whether that means weight loss, strength and mobility, or rediscovering youthful energy.

We opened Active Life Fitness at its original location in July 2015. Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed by a fire in the adjacent restaurant just a few months later in November 2015! While we were devastated, we were also resolute.

We temporarily moved our clients and small group model to a local big box gym that welcomed independent contractors. Then, almost one year later, we reopened our current location in September of 2016. Since then, we’ve welcomed residents of Union County, NJ with open arms!
