Some may say it’s selfish. I say it’s anything but. It’s not selfish to take care of ourselves. It’s essential. Exercising, getting enough sleep, and eating right will help you feel better, which leads to giving more to your families, being more productive, and maybe even increasing your self-confidence.
The demands on our lives, such as family and careers, can get in the way of our health – literally. We often sacrifice our own needs for the needs of those we love. Yes, this is legitimate. If you are working full-time and taking care of your parents, you will be strapped for time.
Our health is our most important asset! If you can’t take care of it yourself, hire a personal trainer. When you don’t want to exercise, you don’t exercise. But, when you don’t want to cook, do you not eat? No, you either go out to dinner, or you do take-out. Think about it. Then, go get yourself a personal trainer.
